Download v18.2.0 update

Running the
Update

Ensure that you
have taken a recent backup of your Keytime data prior to running the update.
Instructions on how to back up can be found at Backing up your Keytime Data

1.   1. Close
all Keytime software

2.   2. Download
the update choosing Run (or Save if you wish to store the file in the network
location to update other computers in your office)

3.   3. Run the
update and follow the on-screen prompts.  Click Finish when prompted to
close the installer.

4.   4. Run the
update on every PC accessing Keytime software (access the update from the
network location in step 3 above).

The version number
is displayed in the bottom right corner of Practice Manager, or via the Help /
About menu in any of the modules

 

What’s New in 18.2.0

Practice Manager

Bulk Delete Client Records

Bulk delete can be found in Practice Manager, the new
feature will:

• ·    Allow you to delete individual or batches of
  client records.  Running the new delete
  routine will remove all items of data linked to the client record; no need to
  hunt down and delete individual items separately
• ·    Allow you to delete historic data and leave the
  client and more recent data intact.  You
  can delete tax returns, communications, submission history etc. prior to a
  specific date
• ·    Archive timesheet entries from deleted client
  records, thereby maintaining timesheet integrity
• ·    Delete tax and accounts jobs and records from
  the individual modules – these don’t have to be deleted separately

Password Protect PDF's

This update also brings you the option to secure PDFs and
other documents generated by the system with a password.  This further enhances the improvements we
brought you in May with the option to specify a save location each time you
generate a PDF.
