Add-in issues

 

Firstly check that the following have been installed on the clients computer:

 

.Net Framework 3.5

.Net Framework 4.0

Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Tools for Office Runtime

 

If any of these are missing install these and then check the status of the Add-ins now. 

 

Known issues:

 

Outlook 2007 – Add-in behaviour of Unloaded

 

If the CMOutlook add-in is in a behaviour of Unload the add-in will not work as expected. The following are steps to follow that should resolve the issue.

 

Check the add-in location by going to the Add-in screen

(Tools > Trust Centre > Add-ins > Highlight add-in > Look at location)

 

Go to this location on the computer and copy the files present

(Usual location is C:\Program Files\Keytime\CMOutlook – There should be 5 files here)

 

Go to the Office Add-ins folder and paste the copied files here

(Usual location is C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\ADDINS – Likely where the rest of the add-ins are installed to)

 

Uninstall the add-in from where it is currently installed from

(Control Panel > Add/Remove programs > CMOutlook > Remove)

 

Go back to the new location for the add-in and install from here

(Open the file CMOutlook.vsto to run the instalation)

 

This should now have resolved the issue so you can go back to the Add-ins screen and check the behaviour

(Behaviour should now read Load at Startup)
