This update resolves several issues associated with earlier releases:

Personal Tax

  • R185 forms have been updated to HMRC’s 2019 version

  • Certain boxes in the Foreign pages of a Partnership return were not being included in the xml file, which is submitted to HMRC, resulting in a submission error

  • Some customers reported error 3265 when bringing forward tax return data from 2018; this has now been fixed

  • SA302 and certain other schedules were producing the same page multiple times

  • The client tracking report was not loading correctly and appeared to be blank

  • A batch of checklists appeared to be producing a single checklist

  • Opening the Employment pages of a 2018 tax return gave a ReadFormData error

  • The Hard Copy Declaration (in Internet Filing Management) didn't allow a date beyond 5 April 2019

Corporation Tax

  • Incorrect internet filing validation messages were appearing where there are entries in pages CT600 F and CT600H

  • Improvements to internet filing validation has been made

VAT Filer

  • We’ve added the ability to clear HMRC’s authorisation token, for example, where the token has become corrupted.

  • Where no obligations are returned for a client, data was being copied from the client record last viewed

Accounts Production

  • The software was incorrectly forcing the inclusion of a Statement of Changes in Equity where there are postings to certain capital and reserves accounts. This statement is not mandatory for companies filing under FRS 102 Section 1A

  • When attempting to import a trial balance from Quickbooks, an error was occurring where some of the Quickbooks account codes had not been mapped to Accounts Production account codes

  • Xero import has been updated following Xero’s recent upgrade to a newer version of Transport Security Layer (TLS)

  • Some improvements have been made to the formatting of notes in charity accounts

Practice Manager

  • Certain national insurance numbers were being rejected as invalid. The algorithm to verify national insurance numbers has been updated
